Window trim loose

The chrome trim on my driver's door window bottom appears to have come up, I attempted to place it back in the hole but it keeps popping out when I roll up the window, 3M adhesive doesn't appear effective here either. Any recommendations?

If the plastic tabs are broken you are basically hosed. As me how I know.... However I used this on my other trim pieces when I removed them to have them paint matched. It works pretty good.

There is a little piece I can push back into the door but no solid click so I'm assuming a piece is broke, I think I'll need to source a new part here, any adhesive would get pulled apart when I roll up the window
