Purchased 1994 from original owner needs some love updates...what is recommended for suspension? Rides very hard

Welcome! Post some pics. If it rides hard, then you may have some suspension upgrades already. If you are looking for the original ride quality, there strut options on Rockauto.

Purchased locally in 1994 so vehicle has had one owner before me and has never left the area mint condition but rides rough figured it needs new shocks struts and tires

looks to be in great condition. did the previous owner give you any history on the car, modifications on service records

if not looking to mod your vehicle, stick with OEM parts where available. avoid the temptation to go with Monroe anything ... they will change your SHO to an SEL ride lol. i see KYB has parts for your MY


need to replace all struts/shocks and mounts. check to make sure the subframe recall has been performed - rusted bolts ...

one of the biggest problem areas is the strut rods, watch out for them.

you can also opt to upgrade the subframe to a gen III type, which eliminates the strut rods and results in better handling.
