Hey it's shojay92 again. I just created a post about a week ago about the radiator on my 91 and now I have ran into another problem. I have owned this particular one that you see in the picture for about a year now and it dawned on me today that the anti-theft wheel lock key is not in the glove compartment. I searched the whole car and the key is missing. And as you know our cars have an anti-theft lug nut on each wheel. So my question is does anybody have any idea where I can get an oem key in order to get my wheels off? Any insight would be greatly appreciated and thank you all so much for all of your help and support. I am amazed over the quick responses I get from your dedicated people out there. You are all awesome.Screenshot 20220514 06321620210707 174246

In case anyone is wondering what key I am talking about, this is the part that you put on your tire iron to loosen that one lug nut that is perfectly rounded. This is that one lug nut that a thief would not be able to loosen and steal your wheels back in the day.

Contact SV&HOdan on this forum and see if he has any laying around. He has been parting cars out for many years and his prices are always very good. You can go to the top right of screen, click on the envelope, and type his user name in the start a conversation box. This is internal messaging for the forum. He should get a message on the forum and it also sends a notice to the email associated with the member's account to receive a notification.
I would get an air gun and zip those off and replace with a regular lugnut. The key always ends up missing just when you need to get the wheel off.

Hey Luigi‍♂️. Thank you for the reply. I will definitely give that a try, is this person the owner of ShoSource?

Send me a PM with a close up pic of your lock lug. I always remove them and throw them in a bucket for later use. I might have one that will work. Otherwise, if you cannot find one, you can always use a 20 or 21mm socket to get them off. It will ruin the socket but that's part of the game.

I lost the key to my aftermarket security lug nuts just this past weekend. Went to Discount Tire and they just gave me one for free. Worth a shot.

I've had this problem several times. I use a Dremel / cutoff wheel to cut a groove in the nut, and a hammer and chisel to rotate it off.
