Anti-Theft reset

I have a 2012 taurus sho that isn’t starting and has the anti theft light blinking, i made sure the battery was charged and now i can’t seem to find the right way to reset the system, any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried putting the fob in the pocket in the center console? It is a backup receiver in case of any problems. Is the battery in the fob good?

i did have it in there with the accessory power on for about 10 minutes but the light won’t go away and it won’t start still

update got it running again, i just left the key in there for an extra 20 min and it started up again
