Like others have said the goodridge kit is never in stock but it seems like maybe once a year or so they make a production run and I managed to get a set last year around this time after trying for about 5 months to get them. It took a lot of calling around and internet searching. Some of the websites actually did seem to accurately state when there would be more in stock. I tried just calling some of the out of state shops I’ve used before for ss lines in other vehicles…. Most were hesitant to make me a custom set because technically ‘DOT approved’ is a serious legal thing and otherwise the braided lines theyWhere does one source braided SS Brake lines for the SHO?
25 lbs is a decent amt of unsprung weight to lose so the handling performance would be noticeable in addition to braking improvement…. Probably should have done it this way. Finally got around to re-installing my wilwood superlight 4 front brake kit and wanted to share a few pictures. Really happy with the improved pedal feel and stopping ability, 25lb weight savings, price point for the whole setup being approx $1,000, and of course the looks!!
I still have Qty 7 adapter bracket kits left in stock if anyone wants a set before they are gone.

Next discs I'm getting the squiggly slotted ones too. I use Hawk 5 HPS pads with great satisfaction on the road and the track. I upgrade my 2011 and 2010 SHO's to the larger discs and calipers found on the 2013s on up etc. Braided lines is my final touch.Like others have said the goodridge kit is never in stock but it seems like maybe once a year or so they make a production run and I managed to get a set last year around this time after trying for about 5 months to get them. Make you are “for racing only” they don’t want to mess with but the truth is if you have the correct fittings and the hose is made with the appropriate equipment then it’s gtg. So point is if you can find a local race shop that makes lines You can probably do it that way, Or the wilwood kit which maybe If I’d known lines came with the kit Aarons talking about it I’d have pulled the trigger on that instead.
My ‘poor man’s’ solution to brake upgrades was to do bendix semi-metallic cop pads, those squiggly slotted raybestos rotors you can find on rock auto and the ss goodridge lines.
