Should I change my stock water pump?

hey so I got a 2015 FPIS ecoboost. I just got the car very recently and didn’t drive it over 400 miles my water pump so far has no problems at al but I’d like to know if I should change it since I’m going to change my oil pump into M390HV. If it’s recommended to change to a better water pump then stock please let me know which one I should look for and if anything else should be changed additional to it also please let me know

you have history of the maintenance? Mileage? these can leak internally and ruin the engine so, if you have the funds, you should look at doing it and check the timing chain tensioners while they are front and center.

I was told it’s not a small job so what else is around that area that is recommended to be replaced with a new one? And also if I should replace it with something better lmk thanks

You will need to remove the timing cover, timing chain and tensioners, to access the oil pump. The water pump is readily accessible from that point. So if you want fresh timing chain and/or tensioners along with h2o pump that is the time. No point in going back in there. The mileage is low but the running hours is also important for this specific type of purchase. If you look at this you can see the water pump exposed. This is a reg 3.5 but the setup is about the same.
