The trans mounts provide a more rigid connection between the trans and frame. You do get some noise and vibration but I love it. Takes the lifeless modern feel away from the car. You know how you can be sitting there and wonder if it’s even running or not? That’s not the case anymore. They really crisp up the shifts and eliminate wheel hop on hard launches. To me they provide an overall much more enjoyable driving experience. You can search the forum for the highly contentious debates about them but I personally would only recommend Anthony Dicunzolo’s mounts. To inquire with him it’s [email protected]
Either I missed something, or I was not very clear - this is my daily driver and I enjoy a clean smooth ride. I did the current upgrades based on the 'limitations' that the factory put onto the vehicle. But I don't see the trans mounts as something I would ever go in the direction of. I could be completely off here and misunderstanding.
CorsaWhat exhaust did you install?
