New here; usually lurk for an amount of time before ever deciding to contemplate posting, but just did my K&N cold air intake and Corsa exhaust (black tips) and thought I would share pictures. Not exactly the biggest fan of the exhaust now that its done, the look is great but the sound is a bit much. I am waiting on the tuner power package from GH. My car is a 2016 SHO NON-PP, daily driver. I would like to change to a smaller wheel and a bigger tire for a more comfortable wheel in the future.

Now everyone has a magnetic metallic one like me lol. I didnt see one for a year or so and now they pop up more.
The corsa never sounded good and for well over 1000$, it just didnt even out. The obx kit sounded best but i just used the piping so i could customize my own muffler contraption. Had a local shop make mine sound like the Ford GT a couple years ago but i usually just run straight pipe now. No cats no mufflers.
Some guy on youtube made a screwy ford gt exhaust for his sho but it sounded pretty bad lol

When you say a bit much, could you elaborate?

I really like this specific color, I also have a explorer sport in the same color. I would t be comfortable with fabrication or parts that don’t match, just personal preference. The cost is high but the quality is unmatched, when I brought the exhaust in to install the shop made note.

just the carbon fiber interior cosmetic upgrades. I’m not really into modding the car past the points mentioned. I did look at the aftermarket intercooler from GH, but I don’t like the skull.

I apologize, when I say a bit much I just mean it’s audible compared to previously. Which probably seems like ‘what did you think would happen’. But I put the exhaust for the breathability of the vehicle, and wanted a low tone not very noticeable. I don’t think it sounds like a foreign or import car, just a bit much for my personal taste. I’m sure I’ll grow accustomed to it over time.

Bro, the pictures were good. I just really wished you wouldn't of scribbled out the license plate because that adds so much to the picture....(jokes)

Ok thanks, I was just wanting to know if it was too loud/raspy or does it sound like a modded Honda civic?

You mentioned smaller wheels, I've cleared 17's but most people recommend 18's for it.

The skull is hidden, you won’t see it.

Some torque/trans mounts might be worth looking at. It’s one of the few cheap and easy mods that makes a noticeable positive difference no matter what you have done to the car.

Actually dont listen me, I love car parts. :nut::nuts:

I’m not familiar with torque/trans mounts, can you link some?

The trans mounts provide a more rigid connection between the trans and frame. You do get some noise and vibration but I love it. Takes the lifeless modern feel away from the car. You know how you can be sitting there and wonder if it’s even running or not? That’s not the case anymore. They really crisp up the shifts and eliminate wheel hop on hard launches. To me they provide an overall much more enjoyable driving experience. You can search the forum for the highly contentious debates about them but I personally would only recommend Anthony Dicunzolo’s mounts. To inquire with him it’s [email protected]

Maybe this will be the first time AD and SSM are mentioned in a thread without a debate lol.
