Roof rack or trailer hitch for bike

So, as things get warmer in the future, I’m looking for a way to haul my mountain bike with the sho. I haven’t found a roof rack that I just like, and I’m not all that came home a big trailer hitch. What are you guys using? Post some pics!

Looks like etrailer has them. But they are Pretty pricey.

I don't have a newer car but I always used a trailer hitch with a Tule bike rack. Easy to get the bike and easy to pull the bike rack off if you don't want a permanent(ish) attachment on the car. https://www.thule.com/en-us/bike-rack/hitch-bike-racks

I have Rhino Rack rails (from AutoAnything) and Thule bike racks. During the winter, the Thule long ski case fits on the same rails.

So I see! That’s one heck of an investment for something I’m not 100% on, lol.

That’s what I’m thinking. I just wish there was a way to hide it better!

I’ll look into em, but I’m just about settled on a receiver hitch, since I’m gonna be using the car for multiple duties. It’s gonna likely be my DD soon, so I want to make sure I can use it, and not get dirty/nasty crap in/on the car.
