Looks like the seller was last on here on June 19, 2020. Start a conversation with the seller so they see the message when they log in again. This is the only post he made so they could be still available.

Someone got a deal tho assuming the seals are still good.
That's what makes it a tricky deal. If the seals are good you made a great buy. If not..maybe they can be rebuilt?? Tough to buy stuff you want that is that old. I had the same questions watching those items. I'm sure Don was pretty confident about that before pulling the trigger.

I picked them up in person in Ohio and prior to making the trip, the owner of said shocks and springs had kept them in a climate control storage facility

He compressed one strut on video 3 wks before pick up and no leakage, and on the day I picked them up I inspected each housing for leakage and there was none. Even compressed two out of the four and no issues.

That said, I kept this quite until I picked them up for I didnt want someone to undermine the sale or outbid me.

I sent the guy who had the shocks and springs a $50 deposit (low) on purpose just in case it didnt work out.

All I would be out is the $50 and it was worth the gamble

Good for you.
I don't blame you for being cautious.
Did you see what happened to the Ferrari's at LeMan's 24 with the bad struts in two cars?
I still can't believe how much a completely blown strut effected one of my shos years back. It completely dropped that corner on the rear of the car. I never would've thought they help that much with ride height. IIRC it was an aftermarket strut as well.

I have a set of these struts with eibach springs, but the car sat for ten years in a garage. It would be nice to know if they could be rebuilt i'd spend the money in a heart beat to have good struts. As far as i'm concerned kyb quick struts are absolute junk the car handled worse with them then 200k mile oem struts and springs especially on the highway.

The oem struts are very good, I have a 91 with 90k I still haven't put on the road but the original struts are still good.

the more I drive my SHO, the more I love it !!

Its quite amd roomie and gives me decent gas mileage to boot and without the Tokico struts and eibach springs very smooth ride

I havent installed these yet and I might consider selling them because I like the car as it is

I can't wait to get mine on the road, i'm just waiting on the registration in the mail! I'll probably end up driving mine as-is also, but i've always wanted to try quality struts and eibachs.

I can tell just by driving it around the property the interior doesn't rattle anywhere near as much as my other SHO's did.
