My rear tires are snapping/popping when I initiate a turn from a stop, like at an intersection. Any ideas? is this the differential?

I think I would be more worried about the rear toe adjustment links. Put a jack under the rear lower control arm, one side at a time. raise the car high enough with the tire is no longer touching the ground and see if you would have any fore-and-aft play, meaning side to side. if there's any play at all you may have a problem with your toe links. Rear wheel bearings might be an issue as well.

My ‘14 SHO non-pp is not covered in the recall but I just had them replaced with pre-recall produced rear toe links and what a huge difference. My toe links were really bad when I checked them, probably about a half inch or more play and the dealership checked them after I did. They said it was really bad too. But there were no replacement parts available. I found parts on Parts Geek and they came quick so instead of having the bad ones I got them taken care of before other problems arise. Oh yeah, don’t forget an alignment after.
