Nice, in a magazine the other year they were talking about doing something for the platform. Not sure if it was to replace the small turbos or be added with it though. Also never heard anything again from them.

Got ahold of the phenolic spacer guy at X35 design so have that en route once his next batch comes along. Sending it with the intake manifold so everything can be port matched! Looking forward to these exhaust manifolds and turbine housings to be ported. I think you guys are going to be surprised considering the controversy behind porting exhaust side of things. Going to be interesting so see what happens so keep your eyes peeled and ready!
The turbos are also in the works and I have money ready for when they are finished from the sale of my gen 3 GH turbos to another SHO owner! Luckily the company taking on the new turbos is also doing the porting so everything will be perfected. Was going to do some extrude honing on the turbine housings but found out it's horrendously expensive! Better to put the money elsewhere.
Pistons should be completed and shipped around 7/17 so looking forward to getting the entire assembly balanced and then finally assembled. A lot of little things to come and quite frankly the 90+ degrees and humidity and the swamp ass temps got me not excited to do too much in my garage. But soooon...

Hey Jordan, I can't remember or find how many miles you had on the engine when it popped, but I'm alway curious about odd ball things.
One of the big attraction with aluminium blocks with me is that they can use really high quality metal sleeves. Do you remember having much of a ridge at the top of the cylinder walls? Back in the olden days of cast iron blocks it was common to have to use a ridge reamer, then bore or hone the cylinder walls. I was wondering how the sleeves in our cylinders hold up over time.
