Nice!

Never even knew there was/is such a thing.

Here I've been waxing my (powder coated) TSW Nurburgring's this entire time.

Interesting and appreciated.

What's cost on some of that stuff? PM if need be.

In closing, I couldn't help but notice that you started out with a product with the name "hot rim" in it.

Bwahaha. Even more interesting. LOL.

Watch video from Pan The Organizer that I posted. It is gold.

The products.

The Hot Rims wheel cleaner is is like $7.99 at Autozone.

The Clean Slate is below

https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guy...592186333&sprefix=chemical+clean+slate&sr=8-3

I really like the 50/50 alcohol and distilled water for decon.

Carpro Ceramic coating is below. I did my whole SHO twice and my rims as well. A little goes along way.

https://www.amazon.com/CarPro-Cquar...ting&qid=1592186426&sprefix=carpro+cer&sr=8-5

Then the top coat Gliss.

https://www.amazon.com/CarPro-GLISS...ss&qid=1592186542&sprefix=carpro+gliss&sr=8-3

Rememeber you can do numerous vehicles depending on size.

Do any of those products to sheet off? I've had products the bead water really well, but ultimately I'm looking for something that sheets water so you don't end up with crap down the sides of the car after it rains.

For the most part yes, they all have their flaws.

I'm currently a fan of Mckee's Hydro Blue Si02 for my rims. They won't last as long as a legit coating, but the application is stupid simple and works for me. Keep us posted on easily brake dust comes off with that coating combo!

Decided I needed to upgrade my trans cooler also. My temps are making me uncomfortable on long freeway drives. I am averaging right at 216 to 218 at a sustained 85 mph.

I will be removing my stock PP trans cooler and I am going to try and stuff this cooler between the condenser and the crash bar. If I have to notch the crash bar, so be it. I will try to mount it as low as I can so that I can keep as much air flow on the other components behind it. 4 times the surface area, more capacity, and $66 dollars shipped my house, worth a try.

I'm interested how much cooler you could run! 86 in Arizona on the freeway with AC on.....if it drops you 20° that would be impressive
I hope it does just that. If it fits, it is literally 4 times the size of the stock PP cooler.

Has anyone tried F11 Topcoat? I use it on my bike but I feel like you would go through a lot of it to do a whole car.
From all the reviews I've read, it's not worth the price at all. I watch a couple different detail geeks on YouTube and this guy did a good review awhile back. For the money, give Turtle Wax Seal & Shine a try.

If that's the case then maybe I'll just use the last of what I've got and give my bike and car both a good cleaning and then go buy some of that.

There are so many good options that outshine F11 for the money. All you can do is give other stuff a try and decide for yourself if it's worth it to you or not. Some ideas: The Last Coat (what @SM105K uses), Griots 3-in-1, Megs HCW or Ceramic Spray, TW S&S or Ceramic Spray, etc are all under $20 IIRC. I know TW S&S is $7 at my local Walmart.

F11 is junk, ShineArmor is junk, Chemical guys works ok, Meguiar's is decent, Exoforma is the next one on my list to try and looks the most promising.

The Last Coat is good for a good shine and water sheetings. However, it offers zero paint protection.

That being said. After ceramic coating my rims, I have decided in the next couple of weeks to completely strip and paint correct the car again.

I will then switch Ceramic Coatings to Avalon King, and re-ceramic coat the SHO.

I have a lot of work to do.

I just bought Chemical Guys scratch and swirl remover, gonna try to do a couple test spots with that tonight when my new buffer comes in.

I have a pretty regimented day. 50 to 55 hours a week at work, another 15 to 20 hours in the gym, everything in between. I still can get a lot of the day to day stuff done during the week.

I usually have a busy Sat morning however I haven't been training events, so that opens up time for me. Mostly Saturdays are for catching up around the house, (SHO work, pool cleaning, yard work, clean the house, ect) and I really try to make Sundays a family day and day of rest.

I admire your discipline, your car exemplifies that and 15-20 hours in the gym is dedication!!

I have done it for so long, it is just life for me now. Sometimes my sleep suffers but I try to get to bed before 9:30 pm. I am usually up at 4:00 am during the week, and I sleep in til about 6:00 am on the weekends. Work starts at 5:00 am and I have a 27 mile drive both ways.
