The double beep on exit with car running and key on you. That I hate. FU car! Yeah, I know you’re running, cause I left it that way!!!! So stupid. I know it’s curable with forscan but I haven’t messed with it yet.

Also I second the radio source changing when I plug my phone in. If I wanted it to change, I’d change it.
I have to remind myself not to close the door all the way so she won't yell at me!

Try this... When you get out, just before closing the door, put your hand with the fob in it on the roof as you close the door. My FoST did that too and that stopped the two honks.

Why don't you create your own code?

The mismatched interior paneling. Why did ford decide to make the passenger airbag panel and instrument cluster panel different?

The scratch prone finish in the touch panel for the heater controls and how mine likes to sporadically turn off by itself.

The crack prone leather on the drivers seat next to the seat controls... same spot on two different SHO’s. A ‘10 that was bought that way and now a ‘14 that I took meticulous care of to avoid which, in my mind, I’m attributing to the edging on the seat control panel.

I think that about covers mine but every car has its thing that we love to hate. Lol

My seat did the same thing. Pretty sure they used vinyl on the sides for some stupid reason. I also have taken meticulous care of my interior as well. I was lucky because the previous owner did too.

You cannot create a personal code unless you have the factory code. That is my issue, too. I finally got the dealership to give me the factory code. I wrote it down, created my own code, and subsequently forgot BOTH codes, as well as where I wrote it down. D'OH, I hate getting old! (And I only have one key fob, so I cannot program a second fob. I'm living on borrowed time.)

On topic - my gripe... dash glare reflected on windshield. I need to wear my Ray Ban's to see out.

I temporarily removed all the carpeting from the trunk area and rear deck on my '16 non pp to sound dampen it, and discovered that in the rear pillars behind the back seats theres 2 black plastic cushions that look like packing material, I dont know what their purpose was but I took them out... Maybe they could be the source of a high speed buzzing sound?

The code is underneath the dash on the drivers side.

Also sometimes "myKEY" limits my volume on my stereo. Both of my FOBs are not programmed to be a mykey...lol.

You’d be surprised how many manufacturers do something similar. When I used to do do system installs you’d see things like that for sound absorption. Think of those recording booths with those egg crate looking walls.

Welcome to the forum !

I believe those are there to reduce road noise. Recently came across those when replacing a module.
