Yes, it was *tan*, unfortunately due to the sunroof stuck open, the interior was too far gone, wasp infested and torn up. So, ive decided I'll make it my newest track car.
Since pulled it from the field, I dropped the tank, cleaned it, and removed the rust. I've replaced the CCRM, fuel pump, and several miscellaneous lines and fuses. And it now runs! Sounds good, about to begin the 60k on it, since reading about it here. Just now looking for little leaks here and there inside the engine bay, mainly a rusted heater hose pipe/ line I'm presuming.

No oil leaks, trans leaks, incredibly.

There's some welding attempts at a workaround to strengthen that. It should be archived somewhere in the way back if you use the search function.

Just picked up a 1992 SHO. Always wanted one, finally found one rotting away in a field. Towed it home to bring back to life to join the fleet. Emerald green with 163xxx miles. Just discovered this site, has been incredibly useful in bringing it back to life.
Congratulations and thank you for saving a classic.

Bringing a SHO back from the dead is the hardest route to take.

Keep all your parts, interior and otherwise, as you may change your mind on the car's use, and as you will find, used parts are still available. And new parts, if available, are downright cheap, comparatively speaking.

I congratulate your effort, and good luck for the future.

It's a route I'm glad to take. I've always wanted one of these, such a unique oddball car.

I'm keeping what is salvageable, as I've done before for another previous project/racecar retired to parts car hauler (1993 Festiva with 1.8 swap).
