as the post says what do you use your SHO for mine was my daily but I just got a 2019 fusion hybrid and I’m driving that as a daily now. Also I never thought I could have fun driving a car that’s slow but the way it saves gas and uses just electric sometimes is damn cool. Funniest thing it says 0-60 is 9 seconds my sho is less than half that lol

What is considered a "brake score"?

How does it calculate that? Like what parameters are involved?

When I bought my SHO it was bone stock and actually replaced my Golf as my daily. I started modding right away, and after 6 months...I put 18K miles on it. I actually really enjoyed DD'ing it. However, I didn't like the excessive mileage, and wear and tear. After putting the new trans in, I parked it. I have continued to mod it to the point where it is right now. She sees some weekend driving, and I use her for long trips.

After I parked the SHO, I starting DD'ing the Golf again. It had 224K miles, no power steering or AC but it started and was reliable. However, the clutch started acting up roughly two months later.

I traded the trusty Golf in on my current ST last February. I bought the ST with 82K miles, today it rolled 109K. I love it. It has some tasteful mods along with a AJPTurbo Flex Fuel Tune. I run it on 91 octane most of the time, and it averages right at 30 mpg depending on how I drive it. If I drive it normal (in boost) and cruise at 75 mph on the freeway it gets 28 mpg. If I drive it "slow" while cruising at 68 mph along with lifting and coasting down hills...I have netted 32 mpg.

Cars are fun.

Mine is a daily driver. I've tried the concept of having a daily driver and a weekend warrior but I always end up driving whichever is faster.

My SHO is way faster and more refined, however my ST is way more fun to drive...even in Grandpa mode.

How's that? Cornering I guess?

My ST is smaller, handles better, and is roughly 260 hp to 300 hp and 360 tq, depending on what I have in the fuel tank. While on E85 it rips. There are very few things in the car world that are more fun than banging gears in a decent power turbo car. Zipping and hooning around town is a blast.

That makes sense. My other ride is a 2 valve 4.6L F150. It does have an exhaust and a couple 10's but that's about where the fun stops.

I daily drove my SHO's the first 4.5 years of ownership, mostly highway miles going to and from work and long trips on the weekends. This past summer my job changed and I drive all day every day, mostly city, so I picked up a 97 Honda accord that is now my daily. Gas savings alone it has paid for itself already, plus it has kept 14K miles off my garage queen already. If I know I'm going to be taking a long highway drive during the day I will take the SHO out, but normally it only gets driven on the weekends and for trackdays now.

The braking score has to do with how long you. Brake so short hard brakes will net you a lower score it grades it also for the regeneration for it.

My SHO is a "daily driver", although it would be more accurate to classify it as "semi-monthly" since I work from home. I have my '70 Torino Cobra for the weekends, and it did a few drag strip days in it's youth.

My 10PP is actually my wife's DD. All stock, I know, no fun. I still would like to take it to the track. My new DD is a 04 Focus SVT. Like SM105K, The SHO is an awesome HP family sedan, but the SVT is so much more fun to drive. I wanted an ST, but the SVT was cheaper and I have a soon to be 16 year son, and it will become his. Gas milage is almost 30 mpg's around town. Which is twice what my F150 gets.

This.... all of this....

I just offloaded my FiST....

To quote my wife...

“I trust my husband who drives the Taurus but I don’t trust the 16 year old he turns into when behind the the wheel the FiST not to **** us.”

The FiST is just tooooo much fun.. like... I seriously considered offloading the SHO and keeping the FiST..
