How to tell if PP or Non-PP?

Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums but I stumbled across some threads and youtube videos discussing PTU fluid replacement and tranny fluid replacement.

I was wondering how I could identify whether my car is a PP or a non-PP and what kind of fluids you guys recommend for engine, tranny, PTU?

My SHO currently has 17k miles, purchased used at 13k miles and is a 2017 model.

For the PTU and RDU Redline Lightweight Shockproof is the best IMO.

I run Castrol Edge with a Motorcraft oil filter.

You are going to get a ton of different answers, everyone believes in what has worked for them and for many different reasons.
In my case:
- Engine: Mobil 1.
- Transmission: Motorcraft Mercon LV. I always use whatever is stated in the manual.
- PTU: Motorcraft SAE 75W-140 Synthetic Rear Axle Lubricant. Pretty expensive stuff.

also look the sticker on the door it has options for springs and axle ratio code

What DarthSHO said. You can add a spare tire, you can change your steering wheel, but most people won't change the door sticker.

Look at the white sticker on the door jam and look at the Axle Code.

1A - non-PP
2A - PP

If you have a PI, it'll be something else that is drawing a blank at the moment.

What are the measurements of amount of fluid it takes for each? Also, filter type? I was actually considering going with NAPA gold on that as far as brands though, thoughts?

P.S. I use mine mostly as a daily driver, but I may or may not decide to cut-loose on a track sometime

Napa gold filters are good. Made by Wix. I usually go with the motorcraft filters in all my vehicles. But I like going with motorcraft on most things Ford.
