The non-PP is quicker believe it or not. It will shift one fewer times than a PP on the way to 60MPH due to differences in gearing on the PP. So don't be afraid of taking on a PP at a stop light.Congrats on the SHO! I got my 2018 SHO in January, absolute black with everything (except PP) as I drive alot of highway miles and wanted comfort over acceleration.(LOL)
Really I thought the opposite. Thought the non PP would have more top end speed. The non-PP is quicker believe it or not. It will shift one fewer times than a PP on the way to 60MPH due to differences in gearing on the PP. So don't be afraid of taking on a PP at a stop light.![]()
The gearing is shorter in the rear end so it needs a 3rd shift before hitting 60 which takes a couple 10ths or so off the 0-60 time or maybe it's the 1/4 mile time. I would expect the non-PP to have a higher top speed as well as given taller rear end gearing.Really I thought the opposite. Thought the non PP would have more top end speed.
