Went to the drag strip this morning, as it's probably the last day until Fall where we will get some negative DA. Let the car cool down for an hour with the hood popped and engine beauty cover off. Tires were aired down to 30psi. Shifter in "S" and traction off. DA was -700ft.

Launched around 2200rpms and came up with this:
57443636767 4677A3AF 1F38 41A2 BB19 466C559DC1FE

Whew! That smashed my personal best of 13.59 at 103.79mph. Incredible that I almost went 106mph in a stock car (it does have a K&N drop in filter, but I doubt that does anything). Just goes to show you what good air quality and cool down time can do. I made one more pass, but didn't launch as well (2.18 60ft) and got a 13.61 at a similar 105mph. Too bad there won't be any more cool days here, cause I'd like to try to break 106mph in it and turn a 13.3. The bug to tune it will probably get the best of me over the summer and it won't be stock anymore by Oct/Nov.

That's certainly moving for a stock car! I went 13.3 @103 in +3250 DA running an LMS tune.

Hey brother I'm in Maryland too and I have a sho. Us Maryland folks should get together one time and do a Cecil day or a cruise. What say you?

Thinking about going back down this Friday night. Weather conditions won't be as good as this past Saturday was, but shouldn't be too bad.

A buddy of mine has been itching to run his 2019 Charger Scat Pack. If he goes down, I will as well.

Hard to say how much chance you'll have being stock. Since you ran so well, one can only assume the Charger will too and he'll be into the 12's with ease. Only one way to find out!

I ran a Challenger Scat Pack and yanked him off the line, but he caught me at the end.

Oh, I absolutely know I have NO chance in beating him. Even though he hasn't been to the drag strip in over a decade, just the raw power of that car gives even a novice a 99% chance of beating an experienced SHO driver in a stock car.

If I was tuned, it would be a different story... but I'm not. Oh well, it'll still be fun!

Went back down this past Saturday. Ran 3 passes and all of them were in the 13.4s (13.44, 13.45, 13.43). Mph was in the mid - low 104s. DA wasn’t as good as my previous run (+700ft this time vs -700ft a few weekends ago), but I aired the tires down a little more (26psi), and came away with a best 60ft of 2.001.

Now if I could combine my best launch with the cooler air and near 106mph traps, I could have a shot at a stock SHO in the 13.3s. Maybe this fall... IF I can resist tuning it before then.

Oh, and the guy in the Charger never showed up... guess he’s a scaredy Scat, haha.

You certainly are not the norm for these cars, but your conditions are certainly favorable. The good thing about a tune is you can easily revert to stock to see how you do in the Fall. Once you do tune, you'll be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner!!! I'm going to the strip tomorrow to see if I can get a 12 second pass. Fingers crossed!

If you're not having problems with spinning put your tire pressure up to 45 to 50 lb pull your mirrors in and if the tracks prepped try and slightly steer out of the prep you should see another mile per hour and a half at the top end
