Do you mean the pickup tube/sump screen?

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
    • Discard the O-ring seal.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Install a new O-ring seal.
This is what in talking about

Oil feed and return lines for the turbo? Should not be press fittings. Will have to look it up. Best way tho is to look at the related parts diagrams on fordparts.com.

Welcome! I’ve spent the last three months between Ontario and Chicago. Great area for cars, I’ve never seen so many chargers and civics and BMWs flying down the highway before in my life.

I replaced the front (left) turbo on my 2011 a few months ago. The oil tube is held in place by an o-ring, and it does simply pull out of the oil pan but it is a bit difficult to do. The o-ring becomes dry and dirt accumulates around the tube. I wound up destroying the tube by aggressively using vice-grips to remove it and had to replace it. I clamped the vice-grips on the tube and tapped the vice-grips with a hammer to remove it. I would recommend that you try using penetrating oil where the tube enters the pan and rotating the tube,to loosen it, while pulling on it. I believe if I had done that, I would have saved about $60 (I think?) on replacing the tube. Good luck!

I was able to get ALL the parts for my turbo replacement at a local Ford dealer. Everything was in stock. They gave me dealer pricing since the total cost for the turbo and related parts was over $1k, and I had a comparable price from an online Ford DEALERSHIP (Ford Parts Direct). I think the dealer cost for that gasket was under $10. Maybe call a local Ford/Lincoln dealer and get back on the road today?

Here is the Ford part number and cost for the gasket you need (highlighted in green). I've included all of the pricing I got from my local dealership for your comparison, as well as an idea or what the total parts cost are for other DIYers who need to replace the turbo themselves. Let me know how it compares to your supplier.
