I have a 2012 Flex EB and was just trying to say hi and throw a few questions out there.

1. What is everyone doing to clear the downstream O2 sensor codes after catless down pipe installs?

2. Why is the T-Stat a good mod?

4. has anyone found any issues with this drivetrain and are there any preventative maintenance solutions? (other than catch can)

3. They are all over this board and other ecoboost forums. You should jump around and read some of those and then ask away. Common failures are PTU, water pump, timing chain... just to get the party started

The water pump is internal? lord why!!!!

Some of it is design genius given many space and weight criteria. I hate that design issue as well.
You need to make a list of all preventative maintenance measures, prioritize, look at your budget, and chop away at it.
