I bought a 3.5EB out of a 2013 MKS. Swapped into 2011. Changed cam and crank sensors. Also the plug coils and the flywheel. Put it all back together. It will only crank. But no start. Any help would be a blessing. Thanks.

P1602Codes?
P1602 on a Ford vehicle means that the pcm has disabled the vehicle (it won't start) due to a communication error. You have to get rid of that code and its cause or the engine will never start.
That is why I asked if you changed any computer parts anywhere. So, the possibilities include: wiring harness / connector issues, a bad pcm or other required can-bus item gone bad (note that "gone bad" can include simply having lost their correct programing identifier for the car). Unfortunately, it is not something to diagnose over the internet. It is very likely you will need it towed to the dealer and have them put their scan tool on it to identify which component is the culprit.

Dealer called today, they think it's a PCM. Not 100 percent sure. I'm taking the PCM to sia electronics tomorrow to have checked and rebuilt. Will know more in 3-5 business days.anything yet? curious....
As noted on another thread, it could be a crankshaft tone ring issue. I would check that that is not what is happening here.
Was it the pcm?
Have you looked at the original thread cited on that issue? Those look very different in tooth count. Try a websearch on that topic and see what pops.Dealer still can't get car to start. The only thing that didn't get changed is the crankshaft trigger ring/tone ring. They have not been able to get an answer if that is the problem or not. What's your thoughts?
