I’m just about to order “permagrin”. With 13,000 miles on vehicle, should I install new plugs too? Thank you

I watched video for removing intake to get at back plugs. Looks like total PITA, something I’m not going to want to do every year. How much would dealer charge for this? Thank you

Some of the wiring harnesses may have to be moved for the back three plugs. Other than that it's fairly simple.

Back is harder than the front but I was done in about an hour. Had to move some wiring around and I also removed the pipe that goes over the top of the motor to the back turbo area

I've found that this is by far the easiest transvers mounted engine to change plugs. With the right wobble sockets and extension I didn't have to remove anything and just pull the sockets.

What is everyone's opinion on spark plugs - what brand, type, etc...? I've seen commercials for those "E3" I think they're called with the 3 prongs for a more efficient burn. I want to change mine again just to stay on top of all my mods.

If you want to try a different plug, the SP542 might be a candidate, it is 1 range colder, I believe, than the SP534.

I'm curious about this. When I had my Focus ST running a Cobb Tune a one range colder plug was necessary but I never really understood why. So what benefit is there to going colder?

Use OEM Motorcraft plugs. 13k seems like a low mileage but if you can do them in an hour, it might not hurt.

Is $760.00 fair price including alignment to install springs?

I changed the plugs a couple of times on my 2011 SHO, this weekend I'll be doing them in my 2016, the back plugs are more difficult but no big deal, no need to remove anything.
