I'm beginning to think part of it is the track....I've seen YouTube videos of guys without meth running solid mid 12s.....and it's almost always at Cecil. Is that track downhill or what

No it's just awesome... that is my home track.. good prep helps also

It has to do with track location. Island, Capitol, MIR, Cecil County, ATCO are some of the fastest tracks on the East Coast. It is due to there location above sea level which is low.

Ha! Even funnier.

Ironic, cuz it's mostly Vette owners who seem to get all miffed when a SHO spanks them.

Guess they felt collectively they needed to research why, and came up with the variations in track grades as a rationale explanation there in.

How do you Stage? Do you Shallow Stage? Do you get the rpm's up to around 1,600-2,000? What tire pressure do you run? Do you ice the intake? Do you let the car col down between runs? Etc....?? There's so many variables into getting a solid run!

I just stage when the lights come on, around 2-2200, I have done 25-32psi, no ice, hotlapping, have let the car sit but does not help a lot normally. Iat2 is what matters when you are running e30. More heat= less timing, so if you let it sit it has to sit for a while to let heat soak dissipate.

Every car I've ever owned goes a couple of tenths quicker at Cecil relative to other tracks.
