Cheers to the margarita time.

I'm beginning my alcohol fueled weekend off right now. Time check.....it is now officially after 12 noon here in the CHI.

But I did pre-game this morning at 0545hrs after getting off shift.... oops. LOL.

#******!!

So sick of dealers not telling everything. I thought I was good at vetting these a-holes. I have evaluated my search and changed my criteria. Sick of ragged out cars and dings that show up only in person. I am increasing my budget and going 2013+ What part of any accidents doesn't include hitting a 12 point buck and having the whole front wheel assembly replaced? Down to 2 grey PP cars and one white. All three have roughly 50k for miles.
If anyone wants a 2011 Kona Blue it's @ Roling Ford in Shell Rock, Iowa. I looked at it. It soured, me the sales guy I was working was fired the morning I drove two hours to look at it. Made me question what I was told. In reasonable shape, tons of new parts but the unknown accident. The combo of that and the guy I was working with was canned changed my mind.

Sucks. Sorry to hear. That Kona Blue sure is a purdy color. But certainly never worth the collision repair crap involved.

Ramp up to a 2018..... I hear they have a new burgundy red color that looks pretty sweet.

Can I get an 2018 for 20ish? Maybe if it was hit by a herd of elephants. Some of these dealers would rather hang on to them than sell. The key is not to rush into a decision. Unfortunately, I tend to do that. One more drink, I want a motorcycle, need vacation.. I could go on. Have a great day!!

Might want to cast the net a bit further then. The right car can be worth the drive. A combination of a clean Carfax and reputable dealer is generally what I start with. I know what colors I like, what features I like, but ultimately how the car performs is #1 on my list.

I've gone 500 + miles and I am actually considering a grandpa sleeper (MKS). I mean it was babied and every service was done. Diff and tranny flush, new brakes, new tires, and one owner. Plus more mod money. Not as good looking as SHO though. Considering a 2013 MKS, and two 2013 PP SHO's(black & white)

Thx but that's over my limit. Trying some self control. I looked at a 2014 WPTC non PP with 62k miles for $18,900. So I will pass.

Thx!! I am really considering the mks that has every feature possible and everything was serviced by the manual. At 50k tranny, diff, and induction (turbo). One owner and 66k miles. Traded back in at the same dealer. The SHO’s are more expensive less miles both 56k mile. Both need new tires. One white non PP and one grey PP. Both are two owners and normal oil change but nothing else. The grey one the detailer buffed too much and they are fixing the spot on the front bumper out of their pocket. I love look of the SHO but I could drive the granny sleeper in luxury and have the Livernois tuner and mod money. Plus I know the records and it’s hip in and drive. The other two I might have breaks and I know for sure tires. Thoughts??? ASAP

This, I was looking at half the country before I just happened to find the car I bought less than 15 miles away from home. And I'm sure there are some member that will be happy to take a look if it's local to them.

If you haven't driven an MKS take one for a drive first. Nothing wrong with them and I have owned more Lincolns than Fords in the past but the MKS didn't do it for me compared to the SHO.

The MKS definitely has a different character to it, looks, feel, etc. BUT it is still a beast at heart. Nothing wrong with a little luxury :) Plus the warranties and generally the servicing is superior on a Lincoln.

I didn't mean to sound like I was putting the MKS down. They are just different. I think there are just too many Uber Lincolns out here that it turned me off.

I hear ya. I definitely like the exterior look of the SHO better. However, I would want to mod the rims, but new tires, and black out the spoiler with wrap. On the lincoln I think aftermarket rims look hoodish and I would have more money for mods. It seems like every SHO I look at it that’s always a gotcha or I forgot to tell you this. The tires aren’t that big of a concern. I am not broke but just don’t want to keep putting basic stuff in to take away from my mods. I really hate grey too. The white just sold and that dealer didn’t impress anyway. I think I talked myself into an MKS. Bingo and white shoes here I come!!!!

Well there will be no Axe Body Spray for you, if your going to drive a Lincoln you will need some Polo, or Cool Water or some other kind of fancy mans colon, LMAO I think its cool, to tell the truth I always wanted a Hot Rod Lincoln

Armamis is what my 75 yr old father in law wears. Will I be banned from the sho forum because the ecoboost sites are as slow as a nursing home.
