The only advantage of autozone is free lifetime replacements rotor/pads. I almost went with autozones gold rotor/pads but instead went with Centrix blank rotors and powerstop pads from rockauto for half the price. I've been very happy with the braking (could be better, but is better than before). Next time I'm due for a replacement, I'll upgrade to 2013+ brakes.

What are the part numbers for the pads and rotors? ( I have non performance package if that makes a difference)

Hi
I posted the following December 4th in response to a question about upgrading brakes on the pre 2013 SHO's. It looks like it may also help answer your questions - including part numbers...

I also own a 2011 non-PP SHO and like everyone else found the brakes to be very inadequate and constantly needing attention. After MUCH searching and reading everything I could on the Forum I recently completed the upgrade that was LONG overdue. The results were outstanding for my needs (I do not track the car but drive “moderately-aggressive”).

There are several options in terms of how far you can go with the upgrade depending on your skill, available free-time and wallet (e.g. replacing all 4 wheels versus front only, PP parts versus non-PP upgraded parts, master cylinder & power booster upgrades etc). I chose to only replace the front brakes and went with 2014 Police Interceptor parts. I chose to use 2014 Police Interceptor for searching purposes as it was much easier to be sure I was getting upgraded PP replacement parts versus non-PP parts. The good news is these larger and vastly improved parts bolt straight in.

There is an extremely helpful link that will run you through the complete procedure:
http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,5654.msg89527/topicseen.html#new

Replacing the front brakes is very easy to do (MUCH easier than putting in new plugs when I loaded my first tune). There was only one slightly confusing part that had to do with some clips that were attached to the new semi-metallic pads. There is a September 8, 2016 post in the Maintenance section of this Forum that says to break them off but they only need to be bent slightly as they help hold everything in place as you are assembling parts.

There are many choices for parts such as the rotors and pads but I am very pleased with the ones I chose (after doing as much research as I could). The rotors are 352 mm in diameter compared to my stock 325 mm rotors and the non-contact portions are specially treated to resist corrosion. The pads are semi-metallic and the best (for me) compromise between performance, longevity, noise and dust. Most of the parts were purchased from RockAuto with the exception of the DOT-4 LV brake fluid and the brake-hose-to-caliper washers which were purchased directly from Ford. Speaking of the washers, this was the only thing not mentioned in previous posts. I re-used my “old” brake hoses (and hence washers). On my test drive after doing the replacement, I discovered one washer was badly leaking. Don’t make a similar mistake. I believe the washers are included if you purchase new brake hoses.

Here are the parts I chose:

2014 FORD POLICE INTERCEPTOR SEDAN 3.5L V6 Turbocharged
CENTRIC 12065136 Rotors
CENTRIC 30616111 Brake Pads
MOTORCRAFT BRCF208 Caliper
MOTORCRAFT BRCF209 Caliper
MOTORCRAFT BRBC28 Caliper Bracket
MOTORCRAFT BRBC29 Caliper Bracket
MOTORCRAFT EOAZ-2149-B Washers (2pkg)
MOTORCRAFT PM-20 DOT-4 LV Brake Fluid

As mentioned, the improvement is dramatic, very cost-effective and an easy do-it-yourself job you won’t regret.

Buy the OE rotors and spend extra money on Carbotech pads, little extra money but worth it. Road in a '14 at Blackhawk in Wisconsin. Was amazed how well they worked and NO FADE, even stopping these fat pigs.

I don't want to offend anyone, especially someone as experienced as BamSHO who has contributed and helped many, but I really don't think sticking with the "under-engineered" 325 mm OE rotors and adding high quality pads is the best solution. Having lived the experience, the upgraded 352 mm rotors (whether OE or high quality aftermarket) are ultimately the best move. It does require changing the brackets, upgrading the calipers and using pads that have significantly greater surface area but the improvements are immediate, easily obtainable, long-term and reasonably cost effective. Also, if one needs further justification, there has to be a reason the 2013+ PP SHO and 2014+ Police Interceptors went (in part) to this set-up. Just my thoughts.

I'll check tomorrow and let you know ASAP.

My error in misreading, my apologies. If forget coming from a '12 to '13, already have better brakes. If I still had it, I would of done the '13 brake upgrade, plus added in the booster and master cylinder too.
