There are eleventy billion oil threads. I use Castrol GTX 5w20 personally, but there are as many opinions as ... well, you know the rest.

well the reason I asked was cause everybody has a different opinion and I'm being told different types that are not good

As long as it is SM rated, it should be fine. There was some research done which showed that was needed to avoid prematurely wearing the cam.

I use Castrol GTX 10/30 High Mileage. Its totally up to you. I use Castrol because its what my dad always used and ive never heard anything bad about it. Some people buy the cheapest house brand stuff and swear by it too. Get a quality filter. I stay away from Fram. Its Motorcraft FL1A for me. Always!!

yes, although you can do 15-20 seconds cranking followed by 15-30 seconds off.

10w-30 in the summer 5w-30 in the winter here in mass. Just remember which ever oil you choose should be changed after a short break in on those new bearings.
