First time at track with mods. Opinions?

In my experience tuning the car at the track makes no difference.

Second time out this year with the v10 tune i had 4 passes and all were around 12.8-12.87, about .1 seconds slower then my best last year with the v8 tune which was 12.74. So i reflashed back to the v8 and the next 3 runs were better then the v10 times with one being my new personal best of 12.71 with a 1.81 60'

So, I was just at my track and I think it was either over-prepped (if that's even possible) or prepped poorly. I cut a 1.78 60FT and then bogged as soon as it hit 2nd gear and power cut off for 2 sec. This happens a lot. Yes, TRAC is off.

My next run, I did a 1.84 60' but trapped 101 and my ET was 13.1 - WTF???

Next run was a 1.89 60' (playing with launch points) and I trapped 107 with an ET of 13.2 - again, WTF!

I have all same mods, except my tune is custom unleashed tune on 20 lbs of boost, livernois DP's, Tstat, 3 bar, colder NGK's, 32 PSI tire pressure.

I have michelin all season tires - I feel like the car skips or hesitates between shifts, like the track is covered in sand and my tires are trying to break it - Any thoughts

I've run better with the 91V10, than the 93 V10 in my '13

How many revisions have you done, SHOoFF? 20 lbs boost - is that spike or continuous, that's a bit extreme for these turbos as their peak efficiency is at 16-18 psi.

What is your maintenance status for trans/ptu/rdu?

If that level of boost is continous, it would scare me to death. It sounds like the ECU is pulling timing to prevent detonation and that is causing the car to lay down at higher rpm. Result is a good 60 but poor quarter. I would want Torrie to see a log.

Torrie is the one who tuned it. He said I am at 20 lbs of boost. We did 9-10 data logs. Not sure if it's peak or continuous, but the car boggs when it hits 2nd gear half the time. Otherwise, it feels like it's getting poor traction when it shifts gears - I just don't understand why... Bad prep? Bad tires? On the street it doesn't do that

I would think Florida climate would definitely hurt. If Torrie is comfortable with that boost, I will certainly defer to him.

I've run better with the 91V10, than the 93 V10 in my '13

Funny you should say that. I hadn't run premium gas on my 2015 the first 5 months off the showroom so I had to run the V8 91 tune. With no other mods I could turn a 12.99. When I finally started using premium gas and switched to V8 93, it was only a tenth of a second faster but the bystanders said I was getting a lot more wheel spin, especially in the 1-2 shift. Haven't made a run on the V10 93 yet.
