Hi all, I just bit the bullet and purchased my first SHO, already want to make it faster. I definitely see from this forum I'm interested in livernois everything:). Are the power gains worth the risk of losing warranty, etc. I drive like 50k miles a year anyways, so the warranty isn't going to last long anyways. I would assume that the tune probably gives a few mpg as well, even though I'm likely to get the most aggressive that livernois offers. Really I don't know where to start, I have always been a mustang guy,but I need awd;) =SHO. Please fill me with your wisdom.

You'll be very happy with the Livernois upgrades. They make a noticeable difference. Their tunes are as safe as possible, for the power they provide. I wouldn't plan on seeing any improvement in mpg. If you do a LOT of highway driving, you might see a slight increase.

Yes I do a ton on hwy driving but mine isn't broke in yet so I'm still only averaging less than 20 mpg with 90% highway

I drive between 50k, and 75k/yr (mostly highway) and I just bought a 2015 SHO about 2 month's ago. I'm pushing 6500 miles on it now, and I'm averaging right about 20. Of course I could make that better, but the SHO is fun at 95! I had spoke to the guys at Livernois, and he said about 10,000 miles is where he would start with the upgrade package.

I drive all highway for work and log my gas every time I fill up. There has been not change in MPG's between tune vs no tune on the highway trips to/from work. MPGs in town have decreased slightly but that's due to the right foot.

But to answer your original question, yes get a tune ASAP.

After having a Livernois tune for the past 4 years, I cannot imagine having a SHO or MKS without it. Your MPG is totally dependent on the weight of your right foot. When I drive gently, my MPG is a bit better than it was prior to tuning. Driven aggressively, well.....using the extra HP takes fuel....and is worth every drop.

We do not have any experience with warranty voidance. We do always advocate being honest if asked about any modifications. Here are two articles that are a good read if you are concerned about your warranty and modifications.

I have a 2015 I bought new last year. My driving is 80% highway. With the V10 Livernois tune, 93 octane, 3bar, and 160 stat, I set the adaptive cruise at a max of 68mph. My average mileage is 25.5 to 26, depending on whether I just left the highway or just left the city. When I get in the fast lane and keep up regardless of speed, I get 22.5mpg. I haven't been to the track since the tune, but I'm sure it will turn high 12's or low 13's. Track aside, the driveability with the Livernois tune is nothing short of fantastic!

So do you suggest I wait until 10000 miles to do this?

What is a realistic HP/tq gain with this 999 bundle?

The only dyno tuning that we do is for 93 octane. There is nothing sexy about an 87 octane tune! I have never loaded anything less than a 93 tune in my cars. Nor do I know anyone who has chosen to take power away from the car post tuning. Remember your car is made to run premium from Ford. All of their adverts are done on 93 octane.
