Now that I'm looking at this it sounds like you're getting a discount. Are you shipping from some company that gets discounts on freight? Because I don't. **** almost all my packages are shipped from USPS and the price I paid is right on the box. But either way as I said if you're certain that's the shipping cost send me 400 and when I ship it and get proven wrong I'll refund you the difference. I'll send you the receipt from USPS, I'm not trying to make money on shipping. I'm trying not to lose money like I have this past week on some stuff. You're a bit closer than some of these other guys so your cost may be accurste, I just don't know for sure and I don't want to waste my time packing all this just to find out it's crazy expensive to ship and you then don't want it. Its not easy finding boxes to fit wheels. I have to drive around like an idiot to stores asking if they have boxes. There's a lot of work involved other than just paying the shipping charge. But even at that I'm still only asking you to pay the ACTUAL shipping charge. That being said let me know if you want it. I don't want to clog the thread with this anymore.

Why are you busting his balls on shipping? His shipping costs are what they are, to expect him to go to the ends of the earth to get a shipping deal that comes close to what your costs are is about as self absorbed as it gets.
Either pay the man what he's quoting you for shipping, or keep it moving.

Glad someone can understand this. I'm even offering to refund anything I overcharged him once I know I didn't get burned on shipping, so he can't lose unless he's nervous the shipping actually is what I quoted him and not what he says it is.

I mailed out 3 boxes last week,a set BBC cylinder heads each in there own box(70lb per box) and a smaller box with valves/springs and it was only $47 via FedEx ground from Alabama to California.....150 lb's of items in 2 large and 1 small box.
I ship a TON with USPS and FedEx so excuse me for being informed.....

That's your issue bud. You ship a lot. Lots of us other guys don't get your discount. You want to pay me 250 and give me your FedEx account number to ship it, I'd be happy to do so. Again I'm not trying to make money on shipping.

My shipping prices are exactly what they charge. So you can blame middle East oil prices then.
FedEx discount is only 10% and only if you use your account # and let them bill you.....
Why would I blame anyone else beside the person quoting to high?? Let's be sensible now.....
FYI I just did a price quote from Patterson,NJ to Burmingham AL via FedEx.....
Each box with a dimension of 20" length X 20" width X 18" height and the box weighing 60lbs comes up with $46 per box.
2 17"x7" wheels in each box with 3" of packing material.....and I'm almost certain I'm 10-15lbs heavy on my estimate.......
Still isn't $92 in shipping on my quote that is bigger.....

Yeah and I'm quoting on 24x24x24 at 50 lbs because that's the size boxes I have. I also pack wheels well. **** you still can't grasp the concept that I'll refund you the difference.

Lol yup. Even though I offered to send him the receipt and refund anything I overquoted. Offered to even use this magical shipping account he has that gets rates us other guys can't get and have him send me only what I wanted for the parts. Oh well you walk the dirt path of the interwebs long enough you're going to find a troll here and there. Least we all got a good laugh. Haha
