Sweeeet!!! where did you get that?
The strip is not difficult to remove, but take your time. My method was to use a wide chisel and hammer from the inside of the trunk lid (behind the liner). I started from the trunk tail lights (left or right) and worked my way towards the other side, popping the strip out 1 clip at a time. Scuff the entire strip with 320grit (be careful, support the area of the strip that you're sanding), wash/rinse/dry and mask off the ford emblem, prime, paint and clear coat. I used a universal metallic black for the strip (paint color does not/was not meant to match, its a dark metallic charcoal, which I love) and used a chrome tinting spray for the blue oval. I clear coated the whole thing last. The black chrome tint spray made the strip look blueish, not black in the least, even after 4coats. Hated it, had to redo it using the aforementioned paint, but it was perfect for tinting the ford oval.mrhighcaliber - what did you use on your rear lights and the chrome trunk strip? Was that strip hard to remove? Your SHO looks great!
They also said the master cylinder needs to be replaced, because it's not holding pressure and fluid is leaking through. And apparently my brake fluid is black
Double check your brake fluid reservoir, as maybe the mechanic didn't top it off. Might temporarily help with the spongy brakes. At the mechanic right now, getting my powerstop rotors and pads installed. They said my rotors had extreme heat damage..They also said the master cylinder needs to be replaced, because it's not holding pressure and fluid is leaking through. Power Stop zinc-coats the hubs so they dont "rust", it's like a dullish silver finish. I won't say that it works 100% tho.Obviously you are getting a new M/C so that takes care of the fluid flush I was going to recommend. Brakes look good hopefully they put the rust preventative coating on the rotors. My last set had the black coating and was designed so the pad contact surface was the only coating that wore away leaving the rest of the rotor black.

Based on caliper orientation and mainly size, the first picture is of the front brakes and second is of the rear. The first picture has a big large caliper from the front and the second picture the caliper is much smaller (the back). So I would say with confidence he did both the front and rear.Hello marius883,
Is photo of front or rear brakes?
Did you do the 013 upgrade?
Did you do the front and rears or only one axel?

I would doubt this is the '13+ upgrade as the rotors for that are not drilled/slotted.

Could you see where the fluid was leaking from the master cylinder?
