The only variable numbers to check are the 7th 8th and 9th digit We can eliminate the 1LN (Lincoln since they apparently went out of production for 2016)

7 Is model series SE/SEL/LIMITED/SHO/POLICE. SE is one choice FWD SEL/Limited and Police is FWD/AWD SHO is one choice AWD
8th Engine code 4 choices 8 3.5 9 2.0 E/B T 3.5 E/B (SHO) or K...3.7 Police
9 Check digit 0-9

10 is model year G A-2010 C-2012 E-2014 - G-2016
11 is plant G Chicago

I found 140...took a while but I found it.

100140 Limited AWD Appears to be 301A Package Moon roof/NAV 20" Cast Aluminum wheels.....split spoke California Emissions.

Guard Exterior/Charcoal Interior. Doesn't say what dealer it went to but since California emissions we could probably conclude not Texas or Ohio or any other non California Emissions state. Axle ration 3.39 interesting mine is AWD and only has 2.77 I wonder if they changed rations for 2016 AWD models?

BTW Start with AWD First reduces one engine choice since the 2.0 is not available with AWD.

The P2KT0 for blue is correct it could be 0-9 or X Everything up to P2KT is ALL SHO T engine everything after that is variable.
I will try 100142 some other time.
