My SHO got her first bath today

Here she is all cleaned up after her first bath. 2014 non-PP, all other options selected, Dark Side Metallic paint code. Currently just under 18k miles.

Absolutely! Even washed and dried the wifes Sorento. It needs to be waxed again, but I was about wiped out after that!!

It wasn't my first color choice, but it was one of the least expensive cars I could find with all the options I was looking for used with under 20k miles.

Also, just saw something that said Dark Side Metallic is no longer offered for the 2016 MY Explorer/Taurus lineup.

Thanks!! It's really hard to catch the blue in a picture, **** it's hard to see it in person. The shot of the front tire, you can see some blue just to the right on the front bumper. I mostly see a nice emerald green, which isn't bad at all

Beautiful SHO! Great pictures! I would never have guessed that there was blue in that color, I have seen it before and thought it was just the deep emerald green...and I really love that color. Thanks for sharing!

I wasn't looking for a dark colored one, myself, but this one managed to tick off all the check boxes.

As for the tires, so far I'm extremely happy with them. If it's dry out, they don't spin, even brake boosting. The front wheels have spun a little when it's wet, it's not dramatic in the corners, sticks to the road nicely. Overall, I'm very impressed with them.

G force kdws? They came on the contour svt's awesome dry and wet tire.... Don't think they were very good in the snow though. You have Awd though so you could have bald tires.. I have uniroyal tiger paws on mine... Good in the dry... In the wet the car slides on corners and spins easily

G force kdws? They came on the contour svt's awesome dry and wet tire.... Don't think they were very good in the snow though. You have Awd though so you could have bald tires.. I have uniroyal tiger paws on mine... Good in the dry... In the wet the car slides on corners and spins easily

It has a greenish brow flake in the paint that looks black from 20+ feet away, but changes when in the sun and up close. These pictures don't do it justice, but you get the point.

The contour was rated at 200hp so drag racing with them in that car wouldn't compare to a 300whp car. But handling they stuck to the road good. My brother had one, he thought it was funny to toss that car into some tight corners at high rates of speed.. I was not laughing.. Lol.. But the car stuck to the road quite well.

That's why they call it the SHO me state...

I don't see many SHO around me in St. Chuck, MO.
