Having a perplexing problem with the SHO. 2011, intelligent access key.

Went to get in the car yesterday morning, swiped the number pad, the car didn't unlock. Ok, grab the key fob, click the unlock button, no dice. Click it again... rear doors unlock, fronts both still locked! Ok, open rear door, reach forward and grab the lock button on top of the door... pops up easily, door is unlocked. Once in the car, the inside lock/unlock buttons will operate the rear door locks but NOT the fronts, either one.
<shrugs> get in, drive to work (I have a very short commute, the car doesn't warm up too much).

Got out of work, temperature was around 35F. Swipe the number pad, door unlocks as normal, power locks all operate as normal.

Got in this morning (approx 7F), same situation as yesterday morning. Power locks operating back doors, not front. Both front doors will unlock easily using the door handle or button on top of the door.

Seems odd BOTH front actuators would fail at the same time, and only in cold weather.

Any thoughts? I just bought this thing, dealership is probably responsible for repair, but I'd love to go in knowing what needs to be done.

Well, the response is overwhelming :D I called the dealership where I bought the car, they are going to call Ford and see if they've heard of this problem. Hopefully I'll get the car in to get looked at this afternoon. From various google searches and the cascade of responses here, I'm taking it that this is an isolated issue with my particular car. I'm hoping it's just a simple short or something. Will post up the outcome for the record.

The only experience I have had with this is a dying transponder in the remote. I tried out the brand new 2nd remote, and lo presto, no more problems. The driver's side door opened fine, the rest of the locks took SEVERAL tries. Replacing the battery did no good at all.

Unfortunately, my car only came with the one. Have a feeling I have a different problem, as using the inside lock/unlock buttons on the doors has the same (no) result. Thanks for the input!

Took it back to the dealer. He put it in the garage, pointed a heater at the interior (I think), shot some de-icer in there somewhere. The passenger side door worked first, he had already ordered a new actuator for the driver's side door when I went to leave and found that one working too. I did wash the car late last week (touchless car wash), it's a little disturbing to think enough water gets in and stays in to freeze up door actuators days later but that *seems* to be the case. It has been QUITE COLD in NY lately, I never had this problem with previous vehicles but maybe the planets aligned just right. Will definitely be more careful about when I wash it in the future, and probably carry a can of that de-icer for "just in case." Will update if anything changes.
