Just picked up a 2014 SHO with power package and 6500 miles on it. For the life of me, I cant figure out how to shut off the ESC on this thing. The two buttons under the AC inside the little panel are blank. The only thing in the menu is drivers assist which is pretty much the cross traffic and blind sopt stuff.
There is actually a pretty simple way to **** all driver aids. All you need to do is press and hold the Traction Control button for ten seconds. And then you are all on your own! Melt those tires!!!!!
Granted, but OP stated that the only "assist" features available were BLIS with cross traffic alert, which my PP also has. Sticker says PP, so I'm guessing it's supposed to be PP but the button panel is wrong.

This is what you should see inside of a PP. If you do not see the same thing, there is something not quite right.

InterestingBecause it is a NON-PP car. That is why the buttons are in-op. Just verified it with FoMoCo customer service. The 2010-2015 PP cars are all the same. If the buttons are blank and the only configurable option within the Driver Info Center is the TCS toggle than it is a NON-PP, according to FoMoCo.
, Not trying to be an ass, but i did post the vin which makes it clear its a 401a with the performance packageMy name is Kevin, I am from Ford`s Customer Relationship Center (CRC). I am addressing your inquiry about your 2014 Taurus SHO with missing buttons pertaining to the Power Package.
We have checked the order guide of the vehicle in relation to the options of your own 2014 Taurus SHO. We did verify your vehicle has the options. If your vehicle is missing features as you’re describing this would need to be addressed at the dealer where you bought the vehicle at. It is recommended to speak with your sales person and their manager about this. It would be up to them on how to approach this situation.
Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company.
Sincerely,
Kevin
