Hi, I am wondering about tranny fluid changes in a 93 ATX with 180k, I haven't yet looked, but am wondering about the intervals that the experienced here follow for ATX fluid changes.
Thanks in advance for ideas and input,
Terry

Every 25K-30K is a good interval. At this age, and with unknown history, avoid flushing. Best to drain & refill. If you see any signs that the fluid is not holding up (gunky, burnt smell, etc.), can drain & refill at relatively short intervals initially, then go back to the normal duty interval.

If/when you are ready to do so, upgrading the lines would also prolong the life of your ATX transmission & improve performance.

^when you say upgrading lines, are you talking about replacing all the hard lines to the cooler and stuff, with rubber lines?
