The cam seal behind the pulley for the water pump belt is leaking. Anyone know where I can get a new seal. I am assuming dealerships wont have them since they don't have anything for these engines.:thankyou:

The seal part number you are looking for is:
F6DZ-6700-AC

Check with Ford dealer first, then go to rearcounter.com, then go to partsvoice.com
--Just looked at last two, nothing around. Guess you'll need to check with FPS in Atlanta, NESHO, RCM Automotive, or someone else that has these parts stock piled.

Someone will surely have one.

No it isn't.
We have the V8 specific seal: SHO Source

The grooves are opposite for the V8 to keep the oil in.

With all due respect to you whorishly always trying to sell stuff, the 1213N seal works perfectly.

It's a simple axial seal, and is actually a common axle seal. You're telling me that you can only use it on one side of an axle because of the way the axle turns?

Of course, I've only worked on a couple thousand SHO's, so what the frig do I know? :nut:

Yes I do, some one has too.

You do know what you are talking about, that I do not doubt.

The 1213N does fit and it can work but the grooves are opposite for the V8. The one I listed has the grooves going the right way to ensure the oil stays in.
