Don't take my advice.
Vortech supercharged 1991 SHO for sale: $2500 as it sits, $3500 with the quaifed trans reinstalled.
Red with black interior, Plus hood. Paint is bad, interior is decent minus the seats, the fronts are split in the seat area, the top of the rear has dried from sitting in the sun. Has some rust in the dogleg on the passenger side. Some bubbling underneath the gas door. The bubbling area appears to have a skim coat of bondo on it, and that quarter and door were repainted.
Has:
-Vortech with 3.61" Pulley, about 6psi, SHOshop piping, SCT chip that was tuned by FPS some years ago, unsure of injectors, I did not pull them to check. It has an 80mm Lightning maf
- Stage 1 cams
- BBB in a hand ported intake
- 3.0 block, as far as I know never been rebuilt
- SHOshop 3pc UDP set
- A stock diameter aluminum crank pulley, anodized the same color as the vortech pulley.
- SHOshop catback with dynomax mufflers
- Not sure what brand of y-pipe was on it, the cats were replaced in it at one point. Has a plug in the front bank, presumably for a wideband.
- Tokico/Eibach
- ALSFB
- 94/95 Knuckles with 96 brakes
- Full length subframe connectors
- Rod shift car - could use some rebuilding to tighten it back up.
- Trunk mounted battery
Car is currently sitting on gen 3 chrome wheels, 17" OZ wheels and tires from my parts ad available on it for an additional $500 if purchased with the car.
The car runs and drives ok, I bought it with a toasted Spec clutch (that didn't have that many miles on per the receipts with the car). I replaced the clutch and flywheel with stock parts to get it mobile. I put a stock non-quaifed trans in, as my plan was to pull parts of the car and return it to stock to sell. The trans that went in was unknown, and shifts awful, hence the price, and the options to go with a reinstalled quaife trans.
The quaife was installed in this transmission by FPS back in late 05, based on all of the other receipts I would say that it has about 40k miles on it. The odometer currently reads 83xxx, certainly it has rolled over.
I decided that I don't really want to put the work into parting the car and returning it to stock, as it would be much easier to sell whole.

Here it is, on the OZ wheels. Car no longer has the cobra brakes.
And the Vortech. Idler has been relocated, and a new, longer belt is being used.
