You shouldn't expect Tq from an oversized centrifugal blower on the SHO. Its design is for lots of power up high and none below 3k. a smaller pulley would help a lot with Tq. (more boost less rpms so more Tq). Your complaing about lag basically. change the blower or pulley but dont say a s/c sho is inferior....ur setup may be but dont put bad opinions for all s/c sho's.
Remember a T-trim is a commonly used blower for corvettes. For a 3.2L its a tad bit oversized
I'm not using a T-Trim, I am using a S-Trim. Smaller pulleys start tearing these transmissions apart, so its not worth it to me (I'm currently at 14lbs). And I am not saying a S/C SHO is "inferior", I am saying the that its power delivery is inferior...because it is. There is no denying that. If I were to do it again I would have gone with a turbo for the sake of not having to rev the car to 7500 RPM to make peak power. And my setup is far from inferior compared to the stock SHOshop setup.
