I may have missed it, but how much is the kit going to cost? Which route did you guys go with it? I'm doing a comparison of building a high comp 3.2L (3.?) for the 92, or buidling a turbo 3.2L (3.?) for a turbo setup. Being that this isn't a drivetrain thred, I will post questions about beefing an MTX for either build elsewhere. But tbh, I'm not ready to do the build as of yet, waiting to see this much anticipated Turbo Kit, and just to get an idea of how much it's going to cost.

Weve been waiting for 2 years.. not to dog the shosource guys, I'm sure they are busy, but don't put your project on hold for this kit to be ready. ;)

It's on hold for some other reasons, but now is homework time. I'm trying to figure out which route I'd like to go.

No pricing has been posted yet.

No point of building a motor for boost.
The stock pistons can take more than the transmission can take.
Save your $$ for spare MTX's...

Ther turbo kit is being ran on a stock motor and doing fine, so far.

What is the ETA on some details? What boost level is it setup for? Just a little hint, maybe?

I remember reading that the stock internals are good upto about 10psi with a safe tune. Of course some have run past that, but then there is less margin for error.

I broke my ring lands at 14psi. If you opened up the ring gap I bet you could get quite a bit more power out of the stock pistons... I only want to run 6 or 7 psi on my track car. I have been patiently waiting for this to be released. If the price is right I am ready to buy.

edit: The engine is stronger than the gearbox in most cases.

I know MTX's are the weak link when making power, but can't a bad **** MTX be built? I'm sure that if someone is shelling out cash to build a nice boost motor, why not go the long route and build a bad MTX? I'll post another thred about my MTX homework.
