Turbo SHO is back better then ever

Finally was able to get most of the new parts installed over the last few weeks. Car now has a front mount intercooler, 36# injectors, AEM wideband, 90mm lightning MAF and 17's with new Falken rubber.

I have a base tune set up for the new injectors and maf. Will be making adjustments and datalogging over the weekend and during the week. Car will be set on 8 psi for now. After I get the G3 subframe done and some BIG injectors Ill start thinking about turning it up.

OP, what clutch are you running? And how much power is that 60 trim good for?

It has a new Valeo with a few thousand miles on it. I'll be taking it easy on it til it blows then be putting in a stage 3. As for the 60 trim I'm not sure but Scott was running the same turbo in remote set up and ran 17 psi . I dont remember what his last dyno was but it made over 400 fwhp.

Yea , I thought it was around 360 whp, thanks for confirming. It was probably reaching the end of efficiency though. I plan to take it easy this year and get everything dialed in perfectly.

I'm working on the trans part, crazy trans mod, I estimate another 25 weekends, even upgraded 1st gear to handle a 1000hp launch.

Trust me i have your build page saved somewhere and check it about once a month praying youve got somewhere on it :wave:

And i you for what your doing, Its going to be awesome to have a REAL transmission behind this wonderful motor.

Its still driving the wrong wheels. Ever tried launching a fwd with more than 500hp? No because there is no launching, just a big smoke show.

I'm no pro on launching a FWD car at the track, but I've seen some 500hp turbo'd Civic's launch pretty good. If there's a will, there's a way.

More than 500 in this vid. Video is crap but its kinda proving it. Thats an old buddy of mine (we lost touch when he powertripped in the US). He is running a 2.2 (the old shadow ones) , no nitro , big ass turbo. Lotus heads , and the bottom end is modded to death.

My point is , FWD can launch , but at that point it will never run in the streets.
