Unless you have old parts sitting on the shelf, there is absolutely no way you could replicate this car for anywhere near my asking price. Some people don't get that, but I'm glad some do. I just gotta keep reminding myself this is SHOforum and cars just don't really sell here.

Sam, I just wanted to say that your are offering amazing car for an amazing price.

I know this is the usual montra but if I had the kind of cash to thrown down I would buy this baby in a heartbeat!

With that said, I will be very interested in say 5 or 6 months, maybe when we have a meet you could let me drive it ;)

Putting some black carpet in the car and finishing some other odds and ends. The car will continue to be raced and have the ever living crap beat out of it (while still being maintained, of course) regardless of its for sale or not.

At this point I have no problems keeping it. The price will remain at 4,000 FIRM. Anyone interested can come kick the tires and go for a ride (or drive it at a Auto-X even?). Thanks for looking!

have you thought about posting this on any racing forums? Racingjunk, lemons, scca etc?

No, partially because I dont want to put the effort in to selling it because I don't really want to get rid of it. If it did sell, I'd like to be able to "keep an eye" on the car as well as offer any support for it that I could.

RAWR.

Had a few people PM me with interest, only to fall off the face of the earth.

On more thing to disclose about the car, The engine. Its a high mileage engine with over 210,000, easy. Before this engine was placed in to this car in 2008 (with 200,000ish miles) the main and rod bearings were replaced. As stated, the car does not smoke, or drop a dime of trans/oil. Still hauls ass...etc. If that is a concern for you, don't bother with the car. Put quite simply, its never been a concern for me and never will be.

Added black carpet and a shifter boot. Will but a brand new Corbeau Forza seat (To match the new Corbeau Forza Driver seat) and install it if the car is purchased for the full asking price.

Part the *****, ******* love parts.

Also, you'll be a while if you want your asking price.

Does the A/C work?

The A/C works fantastic. I had it retrofitted to be ran by mother nature. You roll the windows down and at any speed above 30 MPH, the car plays nice with mother nature and forced air is ran through the car, conditioning the air to be different from how it was before you had the windows up.

It was only retrofitted to work above 30? Being a Taurus, I wouldn't expect it to see much above that. No deal.

God that is so tempting, especially since you are less than 100 miles from where I am moving.

I have to wait until my Frontier transmissions is rebuilt until I can part it. So, whenever you move, come drive the shit out of it, figure if its something you would consider and leave it at that.

I will say this, Every time I open the hood it is a relief as it is one of the most simple SHO engine bays out there (Except for the tracked out 89's with no ABS). Its just a ridiculously easy car to work on.
