Whats the comparison in this? Stock vs stage 4+?

Yes, that is the stock tune vs LMS Stage 4+. I was on a tight schedule so didn't actually give the Flex a proper cool down after loading the 4+ tune. Still the low end torque gain is CRAZY! I mean it's like 80 ft/lbs at 2500 RPM!

Hi Forum

Just to throw my 2 cents worth in as a new poster. Running two vehicles with Livernois tunes and associated MODS. Could not be happier with the way these vehicles responded to the tunes and both did so in a nearly identical fashion. Even the wife smiles broadly after punishing mustangs and the like. Nearly killed my brother in laws SRT Challenger.. Very fun vehicles to drive with lots of satisfaction becuase they are daily drivers. I almost enjoy the SHO more than the GT500. Almost!

For anyone who's on the fence about purchasing these tunes. They are 100% the real deal, and the customer service I received from Livernois (Rick) was second to none.

Even for a relative noob such as myself, getting the tunes into the SCT device and loaded into the car is easy. Took about 30-45 min for the whole process, and I wasn't really working very fast.

Oh, and the performance is off the charts! I've only loaded stage 2 for now and all I can say is WOW! I passed my buddies Acura TL on the highway like he was standing still! I cannot wait for the weather to break here, get stage 4 loaded, and get her to the track. I also saw about a 1-2 mpg increase since loading the tune.

All I can say is, you won't regret it!

Sounds like someone started drinking the LMS kool aid. Tasty isn't it?

I had to put my car back to stock before taking it to the dealer last week, and almost wanted to **** myself driving it there with the stock programming. It's not just about the power. More of it is just every day driving. It shifts so much smoother, and responds much better. The added power is icing on the cake.

Hey guys....Well I just purchased the tune. One quick question...Does the SCT automatically upload the stock tune or is it something I have to do on my own? Ive searched this whole thread and couldnt find anything about it...Im pretty excited tho!

The tuner arrives and you plug it into your OBD port. You read the strat code and email Livernois. They then send you the tune via email. Then you plug the tuner into your computer and load the tune. Return back to your car and load the tune.

Easy to do and it will automatically save the stock tune. You will love it!!!

I have my HVBOM, and the strategy code is listed. Does that mean that I can get my tuner ready to go out of the box and skip the email step?

You send your strategy code to your tuner (Livernois) and they send you tunes that use that strategy code so your SCT tuner can merge with your ECM. You download the tunes into your tuner, into the 3 possible locations, naming them, so you know what you are downloading into ECM. Then you go to install custom tune on SCT screen. First it will upload your stock tune for later re-install if desired. Then it downloads the tune for both engine and tranny into the ECM>

Once completed it will tell you if it is successful or not. Be sure and turn off all electrical like lights, radio, a/c etc., and don't power down windows or turn on any electrical while tune is being loaded into ECM.

Really quite easy....

Once your stock tune is in SCT tuner memory, changing custom tunes does not require uploading anything. You write one custom tune over the other.

Thanks Bob!

The method Bob mentioned is most typical, but if you have the code in advance, we can send it preloaded.
