For the right money, it certainly could be.

Our ATX SHO kit is shaping up nicely.

Anything is possible given enough time and money.

For the right money, yes. With enough money, I could get internals forged by god (the V8 internals aren't forged, are they?) with lower-compression pistons, O-ringed heads if that's still popular, etc, etc. Then run dual turbos to 34 psi and make Bugatti drivers wet themselves.

The closest I want to get to the block is injectors. Did you run 12 psi on stock internals?

I have a freshened up tranny with an SHOsource TC (and 3.98 windstar gears). What should I expect to break first?

I did a custom intake and M 90 supercharger in '07. I'm the V8 SHO M90 pioneer.
15 PSI boost. Lots of people have rode in this car.
Ran it for 3 + years and 30,000 miles -

Go here for a few details -

I tore the flex boot between the MAF and TB, went lean and holed a piston. Replaced the piston and ran another 5000 miles or so. Started getting some crankcase pressure issues and an oil leak, the girls in my house wouldn't drive the car in the winter, didn't have time to fool with it, so I just swapped in a stock SHO drivetrain and computer.

Whole package is still sitting on the floor of my garage waiting for me to get around to fiddling with it. Still runs fine. Just can't seem to get off an airplane long enough to play with my cars anymore.

I followed your threads on v8sho.com, and I'm a fan of what you've done. So, when you tranny let go, it was the TC?

Never even looked at the tranny. It is still sitting in a corner of the garage. I had a built tranny ready and waiting, knowing the stock trans would pop as soon as I added HP.

TQ Conv. was smoked. I got an amazing upgrade through Fred at Midwest Torque Converters for about $600.00. They guaranteed their work to 500 hp. So far, so good.

I've already purchased a TC from SHOsource. I wonder how much hp/tq it will survive?
