Is there any way to remove any indicators that a tune was on your car? Does removing the negative cable for ?? hours work? Or is it once you have/had a tune on it, it is marked for life?

If there is a TSB, you are ok, they don't need to justify to the BIG FORD, but if there is a problem with no TSB, they need to report and then they are going to look deeper and apparently there is a trace that only the BIG FORD has access, not the dealers... So, I was told and so the dealers were told (only a few weeks ago). So I don't know from which year they started that and/or if they just said that to the dealer so they pass the word to their clients to cool their envy to modify their cars... Because, the dealers are usually on our side, they don't care what we do to our cars, as long as they can justify their work on it, they are happy to bill the BIG FORD.Rick at LMS said there was a Ford guy there. He told Rick they cannot tell if a 2010 or a 2011 has been tuned. He said they are planning on doing something with the 2013 to tell if it has been tuned. Not sure who the Ford guy was, just passing what was told to me. Rick might be able to give some details. I just had my car in the dealer for the trans TSB and they never mentioned it to me. They might not have been looking either.
If at any reason you are having doubts about it, DON'T do it.
a flash back to stock and a battery disconnect to clear the KAM then driving the truck enough to turn off P1000 and populate the KAM has always been enough.
Thanks, but it is not about doing it, it was done.![]()
Had it been flashed before or any mods?My engine blew in July they replaced my engine under warranty with no Questions asked.

Scary that Torrie tune... Two broken trannies and one engine blown... ocuh! Not a good track record and probably not too many SHO were tuned, so I know I won't touch his tunes, even if they pretend to be good.. too risky for me.
I understand, it goes on two sides when a tuner decides to participate and promote in a forum... That said, it is true that I don't know the entire situation, but for what we know I still find it scary and therefore risky... I may have ben confusing Nesho and Torrie though and I am sorry for that. Still Livernois has a better track record and has tuned more also... Sorry again, I didn't want to offend anyone or blackmail but just reacting to the posts of an engine blown and broken tranny after having flashed his car with Unleashed tune... I thought and worte too fast that Nesho and Unleashed were Torrie's... oups! Two trannies???? Who else? NESHO is running his own tunes, not Torries.
Steve,
Don't think you should criticize Torrie unless you know the entire situation. What fuel was the guy in St. L running? Engine Temp? other variables??? Torrie is an extremely competent tuner. Statements like yours are why Torrie doesn't post here anymore.
