would like to plan to meet at my place around 9:30-10:00 a.m. with the plan to leave for "the drive" by 11:00 a.m. This will put us at Catawba Island around 1:00 p.m. for lunch. Then we will just play by ear from there.

My address is 2835 111th St. Toledo, OH 43611.

Directions from the North: From I-75 Southbound take Exit #2 Summit St. This will loop around to the left. Continue following Summit St. Eastbound for about 1.5 miles. 111th St. will be on your left, and turn left on 111th St. (Ace Hardware will be on the right). My house will be fifth house down on the left hand side.

Directions from the South: From I-75 Northbound take exit 209 Ottawa River Rd. Continue following Ottawa River Rd. straight passing over Suder Ave. There will be a fork in the road about .25 mile up, follow to the right, this becomes 108th St. Continue going straight until 108 dead ends into Summit St. then turn left. 111th St. will be on the right and turn right (Ace Hardware will be on the left). My house is the fifth one in on the left hand side.

NOTE* I drove the route this evening and there is a major detour on the main road I wanted to take North East. Luckily, it helped me stumble upon a possible fun pitstop. See those that are coming in the morning!

Thanks, Jim for setting this up. I am going to be late, can't make it that early, have some running to do before I head that way. Sent you a PM.

EDIT: Oops. I didn't catch in the earlier part of this thread, the time you had put down. Sorry, Jim. My bad for missing that time initially.

EDIT #2: Directions for me, will be about 2.5 hours to get there. Getting ready now, will be there as soon as I can. Gotta go load up some seats, and springs.

Telling us 9:30 or 10:00 was a strategy to get us there by noon, right?

So we changed our plans and ended up giving Bizzy a visit:

ToledoMeettoBizzys7 30 11
(my truck bed was used as the photography stand)

Thanks Jim for organizing the meet and Tom for letting me drive your '93 and for coaxing us to go Bizzy's instead :thumb:. And of course thanks the most to Bizzy for hosting us (even though we came unannounced) and making some fantastic BBQ :salute:

Ah, no worries! I had a great time! I wish I didn't look like I had just come out of the river, which of course, I had.

It was great to see you all, I do hope that we can do it again sometime soon! Next time I promise to not run out of propane for the grill.

I had a great time too. Too bad I blew the resonator off my exhaust, though. We coulda had one more SHO in the pic.

Many, many thanks to Jim (SHOracer14) for setting up this meet. I was the late one to the party, but all was well. Many thanks to Bizzy to being such a gracious hostess after we dropped in un-announced and fed us lots good food. As it was said, we don't see her much on the forum, so we went to her.

I have to thank Josh (typhoon5000) for letting me sleep at his house before the 3 hour drive back to home, then for the coffee, cereal, and cold drink for the road trip home this morning. Got back around 2 this afternoon.

I enjoyed the change in plans to go see Bizzy, thanks Tom! It was too bad that Tom's exhaust broke on his 90, it was nice seeing it painted in person, looked pretty good.

It was great seeing everyone again, and it sounds like we all made it home safe. It was nice coming home this time with no tickets to have to pay later. :)

I took some pics also.

Awesome pics! I'm so glad you made it home safely. I was about to offer up my couch for you to sleep on when you said you were going to crash over at Josh's house. You looked so tired. It was just as well, you were closer to home there and besides that, my couch isn't that comfortable to sleep on.

I snapped that pic when someone mentioned one pair of socks was ribbed to which I replied, "Ribbed for her pleasure!"

See, I can make funnies still!

I had alot of fun... thanks for those that came. It's always great to hang out with people with the same sick Taurus obsession I have. Also, a big thank you to Beth for being such a gracious hostess. As I said, if you can't make it to meets we will bring the meets to you!
