OK I'm gunna scrap this car soon cuz it keeps breaking...Went to walmart today and when I brake I get this loud cluck from the back tire, so I took the tire off and found that this thing is broke, I dont know what its called.

OK my first question is can I drive to work tommorow like this? About 3 miles. 2nd question is this an easy fix? Can I just get one from a junk yard and replace it?

Rear strut rod, whats left of the washer, and the bushing.

I wouldn't drive it...

You can get a replacement at the junkyard if it's not similarly rusted and *****'d

Does anyone know if I have to get one off of a SHO or will a regular Taurus strut rod work?

do not drive it with it broken like that. not only could you get hurt badly, you will likely cause additional damage that keeps getting more expensive.

Hmm thats actually not a bad price, doesnt say on that page but do they come with the bushings and washers that I need? Can I use the old bushings?

As far as I know they do not come with the bushings or washers. Have your bushings ever been replaced? If they haven't, or if you're not sure, I would go with new bushings while you have everything apart. It'll save you the headache of having to take everything apart again in the future to replace them. Also, new bushings will fit the strut rods tighter than your worn existing bushings. Just my .02...

The strut rod come with used washer but they are rust free from the West Coast. If you try and pull them from your junkyard you will be installing another rusty part.

Bushings can be found here: SHO Source
