Anyone had any issues with their car creaking or popping while moving and making a turn? I just noticed it this week and I'm wondering what the **** it could be! Bushings? Ball Joints???

I have heard some noise from the power steering that took a while to get acquainted with as normal, but can't say as I would describe it as a creak, or popping sound.

After installing my H & R springs, I get a bit of creaking when turning hard at very low speeds. Have had it for almost 12 mo... not worrying about it, as it hasn't gotten worse.

Same here after the H&R's. One thing too if you lift the car on the rack make sure the coils are seated back into the cups. Pulling out of the quick change I heard a loud bang. They had to rack it again and turn the springs properly.

Mine is making the same noise on the right front. As soon as I get some time I will look at it and hopefully find the fix.
If there is one thing I can't stand its noises.

Getting Rotors & Pads replaced (upgraded) later this month. Will be interesting to see if I get more noises. Same shop that installed H & R's will do work, so will warn them about making sure coils are turned correctly.

Yeah it seems to happen at slow speeds when I'm making sharp turns into a parking lot or something similar. My Z made the same noise when I had my adjustable camber arms installed, but it went away after driving it for a while. So I'm thinking it could be the rubber bushings on the A-arms or lower control arms that makes that sound when the suspension flexes during a turn?! Not sure...sounds like I'll just have to deal with it since others are having the same issue. Thanks everyone!

I have this issue. Right front. Dealer has looked at it twice, never fixed it. I am dropping the car off on Monday for them to look again and also TSB 11-5-6 (transmission fix) or whatever they need to do to get the cars power back and stop the shuddering and horrible feeling when I get on the gas and it acts like its gonna shut off or stall. Gotta say, I am starting to get annoyed with my SHO. I haven't had a car at the shop for this much crap in many years. And I am only at 23k miles. I hope they can get all this stuff fixed so I can get back to loving this car.

I also have had the same creaking noise on my 2010 SHO (10,000 miles) for the past 6-8 months. Mine is most noticable on the front right side at the end of a moderate to hard stop just as the car is completing its stop. It is more noticable when turning right or going downhill during the stop. It aslo seems to be more noticable the first five to ten minutes after starting up cold. It is also very unpredictable, I have tried twice to take it to the dealer for this problem, but both times it had stopped by the time I made it to the dealership.

If the radio is on and playing loud enough I won't hear the problem, but I'd like to know if it is a simptom of a larger potential problem.

Just jumping in on this but it sounds like this could be the brakes grinding. Feels and sounds like a suspension creak.

I have that problem too... (it seems I have most of the issues!!!). My pads are due and I have H&R springs. I hear the noises from front right. I will report once brake pads are changed... If they can be delivered soon because EBC are on National backorder... I hope it won't fuXX up my rotors!

Naw this is clearly some sort of suspension creaking when the weight shifts in the car. No brakes applied, no creaking when going straight, turn the wheel left and right going slowly, distinct creaking sound on each sway of the car. Mines in the shop today for multiple issues, the creaking being one of them. I will let you guys know if I have any luck with them fixing it.

So, thinking about your comment a lil more, and because I don't like to completely dismiss anything, is the brake thing only happening when the brakes are applied? Is the brake grind noise constant, or only when braking?

It's worse when applying the brakes but it does it when the car is cold and has sat overnight for example. Once the brakes warm up or, perhaps, when surface rust wears off, then they quiet down. Seems like a small possibility in your case but worth checking.

An update on mine, the dealer still has the car. They hear the noise but cannot isolate the cause. They are still investigating. On the other issue (stumbling ******* wot from dead stand still or while accelerating hard to pass), they are talking about coil packs 'loading up'? for which they have ordered new ones. I don't fully understand what hes talking about, but if he tells me today that replacing them fixed it, I will be asking lots of questions regarding what went wrong and whats to stop it from happening again.

If they haven't pinpointed the noise yet have the tech put chassis ears on the engine mount below the coolant bottle. Might be surprised at the outcome. I was.

I have fixed 2 with the motor mount including mine. The mount is metal and rubber and seems to collapse slightly allowing it to creak and pop during turning braking and acceleration.
At first I thought it was the sway bar or strut but it ended up being the mount. If your tech can't find anything wrong in the front suspension have him check the mount. Hopefully this helps resolve the problem for those that have it.

If you haven't looked at it yet I'd have them check for chaffed wires. http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=118283

It was something that my dealer took 4-6 weeks to get figured out...what a PITA that was...
