Just got in from "test" fitting the Lamin-X I received for my taillights. Discovered a few things. The Lamin-X is cut a bit larger then the tailight, thus it will require trimming the outside edges. I was not impressed with this, but after thinking about it, I think it is a good thing, will make installation easier and require less precision to cover the whole lens. Also the film will require trimming around the chrome piece that covers the portion of the taillight on the trunk. At first look, this looks like it may be the hardest part to trim and fit correctly, also it will make removing the film from the clear part of the lens a bit more difficult.
I was going to attempt to install today, but because of wind and cool temps, I am going to wait for a calm, warmer day. I would suspect that installation is going to require a few hours and some patience. Also the tint shipped on a roll, so I laid mine out to flatten it because a curl had set in, I believe that having it flat will aid installation. More after installation, hopefully there will be pics, depending on whether I can find a camera...
