I'm sure you've thought about this, but are there any laws in your area about this that are going to cause a problem? I ask, because here in RI, any kind of tint on anything is illegal, and most stations will fail the car for inspection, unless you know someone.

No inspection needed for 5 years here in IL with a new vehicle, but I am not sure what the laws are, and if you can get ticketed for it. I wouldn't do it as it is only a performance downgrade to dim head and tail/brake lights.

I think it looks okay, i'm just not a fan of darkening things that let people know you are stopping, or if they are used to see at night.

Did they use window film? It almost looks like some sort of vinyl in one of the photos. I would be interested to see how much light it actually blocks. Some of your pictures the lights look really dark, and some look lighter.

My headlight tint is also illegal, but being its a new car, not too many folks are going to inquire unless they are really picky. I do have to run my high beams at night due to my headlight tinting. No one ever flashes me back so I can only imagine it's like having low beams on. And bpd1151, your car looks even more awesome than before.

Wow. Once again some great pictures of your mods so far. I really like the headlight tint and have considered it. I'm pretty sure it's illegal here but I already have my front windows tinted (definitely illegal here) so what the ****?
